Ameloblastomas call the attention of the oral-maxillofacial surgeon for the treatment challenge, for possible tumor recurrences, as well as postoperative complications. Studies show no predilection for gender. The most common symptoms are pain and tumor, however, this symptomatology happens late, making it difficult to identify the pathology in its early stages. Treatment of ameloblastoma is done surgically. Since the lesions are radioresistant, radiotherapy is not indicated.
